The School of Cosmetology
Style Mobb University School of Cosmetology offers a variety of certifications to help prepare students for the beauty industry. Our courses provide a strong foundation in hair, skin, and nail care and lead to certificates in Master Cosmetology, Hair Design, Esthetics, and Nail Care. Our dual enrollment program allows students to take a minor course such as Wig Designer, Celebrity Hair Stylist, Body Contouring Specialist, Professional Set Makeup Artist, and more. This allows our students to get State Board Exam ready, gain advanced training, and specialize in their area of interest.

Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses and credits to graduate.

Master Cosmetology Program (Major)
The Style Mobb University Master Cosmetologist program offers comprehensive training and education in the cosmetology field. Students will gain knowledge in safety and sanitation, state laws and regulations, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, skin, hair, and nail diseases and disorders, hair treatments and manipulations, hair shaping, hair styling, Advanced Hair Weaving and Extensions, braiding, chemical reformation and application, skin and nail care, hair coloring, hair lightening, business management, and advanced business practices. Upon completion, students will be prepared to pursue successful careers in the cosmetology and beauty industry.

Hair Design Cosmetology Program (Major)
The Hair Designer Technical Certificate of Credit is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the field of hair design. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes specialized training in safety, sanitation, state laws, rules, and regulations, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, hair and scalp diseases and disorders, hair treatments and manipulations, hair shaping, hair styling, artificial hair, braiding and intertwining hair, chemical reformation and application, hair coloring, hair lightening, reception, sales, management, and work ethics. The curriculum meets state licensing requirements of the State Board of Cosmetology.
